23 March 2017 : Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd (Perangsang Selangor) redistributed a total of RM 86,500 to 32 ‘fisabilillah’ and less fortunate recipients.

 

The business tithe contribution is the second series of redistribution of 3/8 tithe totaling RM257,572.92 to 19 university students who are pursuing studies in local and overseas institutions in the field of Islamic studies, medicine, computers and mathematics, 11 less fortunate individuals and 2 institutions namely Akademi Tahfiz Mandarin Pulau Ketam and Al-Maahad Tahfiz Fityan.

 

The donations are intended to reduce their financial burden who among them are single mothers, people suffering from diseases such as brain and kidney cancer, senior citizens and students from underprivileged families.

13-20 February 2017 : The Selangor People Career Stimulus (SPCS) programme for 2016 ended with Food Preparation (Cendol and Laksa) training programme conducted by Hijrah Training and Management at Hijrah and Management Training Center, Seksyen 20, Shah Alam. 30 participants attended the 8 days course which include theoretical and practical sessions.

 

The participants learned the right way to prepare cendol and laksa, visited a stall owned by a former SPCS participant, exposed to entrepreneurship skills such as marketing technique and business plan as well as the relevant process and procedures in dealing with local authorities. The programme received sponsorship worth RM55,380 from Perangsang Selangor.

10-15 February 2017 : 20 Selangor People Career Stimulus (RKRS) programme participants have completed the Air Conditioning Repairing and Maintenance course at the Industry Training Institute (ILP), Jalan Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur. The training was conducted on 10-15 February 2017 in collaboration with Adimega Sdn Bhd and ILP.

 

During the course, the participants were exposed to practical and theoretical air conditioning management skills such as air condition installation, installation of copper tubing, electrical testing, repair as well as maintenance.

 

Perangsang Selangor has contributed funds worth RM43,200 for this programme.

Islam is a universal religion that openly welcomes any differences, variations and advocates equality to the followers. The phenomenon of societies around the globe on accepting Islam as The Religion (Deen) contributes the fundamental and pride that symbolises the existence of this Deen. Notwithstanding there are still many of us being in the distance of Islamic common in ‘aqidah’, ‘iman’ and even with ‘syariah’.

 

Hence, with the collaboration of Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad’s (Perangsang Selangor) Islamic Religious Department (IRD) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Unit we take the challenge to convince the community that Islam is a religion of peace, kindness and relevant to meet the demands of Muslims in Malaysia especially in Selangor. The main purpose is to convey the message of Islam through good deeds fostering closer relations and affection among Muslims, build social relationships and provide community service to those in need

 

In the light of the above, IRD has initiated the ‘Perangsang with The People 4.0 across 9 districts in Selangor including Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Sabak Bernam, Sepang, Petaling, Kuala Selangor, Kuala Langat dan Hulu Langat.

 

PBR 4.0 is a programme to help the underprivileged and single mothers, where about 100 people were selected to receive groceries such as rice, sugar, cooking oil, flour and cash worth RM50.

 

5 February 2017 : The 1st PBR 4.0 was held in Balai Raya Kampung. Titiwangsa. The programme begin with the Dhuha Talk deliverd by Ustaz Sheikh Mujahid, followed by ‘gotong-royong perdana’, kids colouring contest, motocycle engine oil replacement and the slowest motocycle tournament. The highlight of the event was Kenduri Rakyat which was attended by 300 people comprising of local communities. Mustafa Kamil Ayub, Board of CSR Perangsang Selangor, handed 100 gifts to the selected recipients.

 

5 February 2017 continued PBR 4.0 Held in Surau Flat Seri Berembang and Kompleks Tarbiah Al Hawariyyun, Port Klang. The programme begins with the Dhuha Talk deliverd by Ustaz Khalid Nayan. Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali officially launched the ceremony and handed 100 gifts to the eligible recipients.

 

This event continued with ‘gotong-royong for the surau’, kids colouring contest, health screening and eradicate campaigns. The event ended with the Kenduri Rakyat which was attended by 300 people comprising of the local communities

 

11 February 2017 : The third PBR Programme Held at Kampung Batu Arang, Kuang Rawang, District of Selayang.was officiated by Taman Templer State Assembly Member YB Hj Zaidy Talib. He also handed 100 gifts to the eligible recipients witnessed by Ustaz Muslim Zainudin of the Islamic Religious Department Officer.

 

This event started with ‘sembang santai’ led by celebrities Ustaz Zul Hazwan together with the Bocey a comedian. 400 participants from the serrounding area take part in the friendy soccer match, Real Chef Cooking Tournament, kids colouring contest, archery, Malaysian traditional game Congkak, telematch, ball juggling, martial art demo, demonstration engine oil exchange, health screening, dispose bin handing over ceremony and “Kenduri Rakyat”.

 

11-12 February 2017 : The forth PBR was held in Sabak Bernam. Launched by CSR Board of Director Mustafa Ayub who handed over the daily needs for about 100 eligible recipients held in Masjid Al-Abrar, Batu 2, Sapintas,Sabak Bernam. Also present Ustaz Solihin Mukyi, State Assembly Member of Sabak Bernam .

 

The Programme began with Dakwah Talk with Malaysian Islamic Special Celebrities Icon Imam Muda Hassan and actor, Adam Corrie. The talk Programme was successfully conducted by Ustaz Shaiful Hanif as the moderator.

 

400 participants from the nearby area participated in friendly street soccer match, gotong-royong Surau, engine oil replacement, free haircut service, archery and kids colouring contest. . Perangsang Selangor also presented daily needs to 100 less fortune recipients and followed with the ”kenduri rakyat”.

 

12 February 2017 : The 5th PBR 4.0 at Padang Klinik Desa, Kampung Hulu Chuchoh, Sungai Pelek, Sepang, attended by 300 local. The programme began with Dhuha talk deliverd by Ustaz Fazli, followed by traditional game, ‘gotong royong’, telematch, colouring contest, archery and Smart Solat Clinic.

 

19 Februari 2017 :The 6th PBR 4.0 was held at Surau Al-Hijrah Seksyen 7, Shah Alam. The opening ceremony was officiated by Mustafa Ayub CSR board of director Perangsang Selangor and witness by State Assembly Member of Kota Anggerik YB Yaakob Sapari.and Ustaz Hj Halim, Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam (MBSA) Counsellor. Perangsang Selangor also presented daily needs to 100 selected recipients

 

The Programme started with ‘Sembang Santai” by Ustaz Ahmad Dasuki together with Cikgu NM Rajan followed by Casual Women’s Health Talk delivered by Dr Mastura Mohd Mokhtar.In addiction there are also such as fitness exercises, free health’s screenings, free blood glucose checks, blood donation, Diabetic awareness exhibition.

4-5 February 2017 : The Clinical Cupping Therapy entrepreneurship training programme 2016 under the Selangor People Career Stimulus (SPCS) initiative was conducted from 4–5 February at Suunah Kekabu Resort and Hotel, Seksyen 20, Shah Alam. The programme focuses on producing ethical clinical cupping entrepreneurs, enhancing communications skill and emphasises on the aspects of appearance as well as customer service.

 

Through a selection process conducted by House of Bekam, the appointed training provider, 30 participants from across Selangor have successful completed the course. They consists of fresh graduates, single mothers, self-employed and unemployed individuals who are keen to venture into clinical cupping therapy business. In year 2016, Perangsang Selangor has allocated funds worth RM72,000 as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility effort to reduce the unemployment rate in Selangor.

The Sports For All - Football programme organised by Munro Sports is an initiative to promote sports culture among youths and promote a healthy lifestyle. In addition, it also aims to cultivate interest and provide opportunities for all segments of society in Selangor to understand the latest technology in sports.
