23 July 2017 : The second series of the bowling clinic under the Sports For All programme was held at Wangsa Bowl, IOI City Mall Putrajaya. 60 participants between 8-50 years of age from the Sepang district participated in the event.

Perangsang Selangor Contributes To The Community

21 July 2017 : Perangsang Selangor through its Corporate Social Responsibility Unit contributed financial aid worth RM25,600 to 16 organisations which include schools, associations, mosque and surau. The contribution was presented by Zain Azrai Zainal Abidin, Chief Financial Officer at Board Room, Plaza Perangsang. Each recipient received financial contribution between RM1,000 to RM2,000.

“Sports For All” Memorandum Of Agreement Signing Ceremony

14 July 2017 : Perangsang Selangor has signed a memorandum of agreement with 8 sport training providers, namely J World Sports, JAB Bowling Academy, Kelab Elit Skuasy Astaka, Supersharkz Swim School, Munro Sports, Clever Speda, Kelab Masyarakat Bola Rotan and Kelab Menanah Alpha Brothers involving sponsorship worth RM1.37 million.

3rd Series Of Zakat Redistribution 2017

16 June 2017 : Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad and its subsidiaries have redistributed business tithe worth RM83,672.92 to 38 recipients comprising asnaf fisabilillah and poor people in conjunction with the month of Ramadan. In total, 30 underprivileged university students and 8 poor asnafs including single mothers received the financial assistance.

 

The contributions was presented by Suzila Khairuddin, Chief Operating Officer of Perangsang Selangor.

‘Ziarah Kasih Ramadan’ Programme

‘Ziarah Kasih Ramadan’ Programme

Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor (Perangsang Selangor) through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Unit organised a ‘Ziarah Kasih Ramadan’ programmes at two old folks home namely Rumah Ehsan Warga Emas, Kuala Kubu Bharu and Pusat Jagaan dan Rawatan Al-Ikhlas, Puchong. The purpose of ‘Ziarah Kasih Ramadan’ programme is to visit the senior citizens as well as providing assistance in the form of groceries items such as rice, oil, sugar and flour as well as handing over contribution of funds worth RM10,000.

 

14 June 2017 : The first programme was held at Rumah Ehsan Warga Emas, Kuala Kubu Bharu. The programme started with a short welcoming speech by Deputy Principal of Rumah Ehsan Warga Emas, Mohamad Kholid Hamzah and recital of ‘doa’ by Ustaz Khairunnajmi Abd Jalil, followed by a visit by 22 staff led by Chief Operating Officer, Perangsang Selangor, Suzila Khairuddin who also presented gifts to 60 senior citizens and presented a cheque worth RM5,000 to the center.

 

21 June 2017 : The second programme of ‘Ziarah Kasih Ramadan’ was held at the Al-Ikhlas Care and Treatment Center, Puchong. The programme was led by a brief introduction by Muji Sulaiman, Founder of Pusat Jagaan dan Rawatan Al-Ikhlas followed by a opening speech by Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali, Associate Director, Public Relations, Media and CSR, Perangsang Selangor.

 

A total of 16 staff visited and mingled around with 44 senior citizens while distributing gifts to them.

 

According to Muji, the funds and contributions provided by the Perangsang Selangor will be used to cover the operational costs of the center and thank the staff who are willing to spend time interacting with the senior citizens who are in dire need of attention from the community.

Badminton Clinics For 31 Autistic Students

24 May 2017 : A total of 31 special students from National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM) have had the opportunity to attend a badminton clinic conducted by former national player, Jason Wong at Zelka Sports Center, Puchong.

 

The badminton clinic is part of Perangsang Selangor’s Sports for All programme under the Selangor Sports Stimulus (SSS) CSR initiative aimed at cultivating sports culture as well promoting a healthy lifestyle in addition to instilling interest and providing the opportunity for students, youths, senior citizens, indigenous people, orphanages and disabled people in Selangor to learn about sports.

 

For badminton, Perangsang Selangor have spent RM766,685 involving 1,137 participants, of which 211 of them are indigenous students, 82 orphans, 51 senior citizens, 64 disabled people and the rest are students from all districts in Selangor since 2014.

 

The sports clinic is the only programme involving badminton for autism students organised by Perangsang Selangor.
