Perangsang Selangor Donates RM30,000 To Build Special Education Therapy Room ‘Azzahra’
Special child of SK Raja Muda (Intergrated) with teachers and guests of honor
May 27, 2015 : Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) contributed RM30,000 to Sekolah Kebangsaan Raja Muda (Integrated) Section 4, Shah Alam to build a therapy room called 'Azzahra' for Special Education Integration Programme (SEIP) students.
SK Raja Muda (Integrated) has a total of 66 special students and began SEIP session since 1999 where students with special needs have the opportunity to participate in relevant and appropriate programmes aimed to optimise their potential and produce skilled workforce thus improving their quality of life.
Khairunnisa M Zain, mother of standard 4 student, Amar Ariz Abdul Muhaimin said, "Amar Ariz was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 1 and since joining PPKI at this school, his development is very encouraging where he is able to learn, speak English fluently and operate a computer".
The opening ceremony was officiated by the Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility Perangsang Selangor, Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali, witnessed by the Principal of SK Raja Muda (Integrated), Kamarruzaman Yahya, Senior Supervisor of Special Education, State Education Department, Habibah Ahmad and Chairman of Parent Teachers Associations SK Raja Muda, Mohd Zikrul Hakim Noor.
