The SCRS recipients
January 27, 2015 : The Selangor Community Responsibility Stimulus (SCRS) programme is part of Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad’s (Perangsang Selangor) Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to support the Selangor State Government's aspiration in developing an excellent community and improve the quality of life by strengthening their economy, education and social life. SCRS is divided into four categories which include religious activities, donations and contibutions, community based activities with Non-Government Organisations and event management. For the first series in 2015, Perangsang Selangor presented contributions worth RM50,600 to seven charitable organisations, educational institutions and individual.
The recipients include, Faculty of Mass Communications, UNISEL RM2,000 for ‘A Charity Trip : Love & Learn’ programme at the National Zoo for Academy Pandawas Kuala Lumpur’s refugee students, Darul Ehsan Mosque Integrated School RM1,000 for Islamic Students Excellence Award and Ihtifal event, Ahmad Khairi Al Hadi Mohamad Md Yusop RM5,000 for medical assistance, Kafa Integrated Islamic College Mosque Malaysia, RM5,000 to purchase school equipments, Darul Ehsan Orphanage Charity Organisation Malaysia RM7,600 to purchase school uniforms for 20 orphans, An Nahdhah Mosque Youth Club RM20,000 to organise a spiritual programme for teenagers called 'Nadwah Imam Muda and Mawar Solehah 2.0' and the People's Service Centre, Kuang State Legislative Assembly RM10,000 to organise the 2014 Sports Carnival and Community Feast.
The contributions were presented by Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali, Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, Perangsang Selangor to the representatives at the Sports and Recreation Club Room, Plaza Perangsang.
