29 Disember 2017 : A total of 8 Perangsang Selangor staff brought cheer to the pediatric ward at the Shah Alam General Hospital during a visit organised by the Public Relations, Media and CSR Department (PRMC). Perangsang Selangor led by Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali, Head of PRMC presented books, educational toys as well as magazines for the ward’s reading corner and hampers to the children as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility programme.

19 November 2017 : Clever Speda organised the first ever 35-kilometre highway Team Time Trial Cycling Championship in Malaysia at Pantai Morib, Kuala Langat. 195 cyclists from a total of 39 teams participated in the tournament. There were 3 categories contested namely Elite, Open and Veteran (above 38 years of age).

Islam is a universal religion that openly welcomes any differences, variations and advocates equality to the followers. The phenomenon of societies around the globe on accepting Islam as The Religion (Deen) contributes the fundamental and pride that symbolises the existence of this Deen. Notwithstanding there are still many of us being in the distance of Islamic common in ‘aqidah’, ‘iman’ and even with ‘syariah’.

 

Hence, with the collaboration of Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad’s (Perangsang Selangor) Islamic Religious Department (IRD) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Unit we take the challenge to convince the community that Islam is a religion of peace, kindness and relevant to meet the demands of Muslims in Malaysia especially in Selangor. The main purpose is to convey the message of Islam through good deeds fostering closer relations and affection among Muslims, build social relationships and provide community service to those in need

 

In the light of the above, IRD has initiated the ‘Perangsang with The People 4.0 across 9 districts in Selangor including Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Sabak Bernam, Sepang, Petaling, Kuala Selangor, Kuala Langat dan Hulu Langat.

 

PBR 4.0 is a programme to help the underprivileged and single mothers, where about 100 people were selected to receive groceries such as rice, sugar, cooking oil, flour and cash worth RM50.

 

5 February 2017 : The 1st PBR 4.0 was held in Balai Raya Kampung. Titiwangsa. The programme begin with the Dhuha Talk deliverd by Ustaz Sheikh Mujahid, followed by ‘gotong-royong perdana’, kids colouring contest, motocycle engine oil replacement and the slowest motocycle tournament. The highlight of the event was Kenduri Rakyat which was attended by 300 people comprising of local communities. Mustafa Kamil Ayub, Board of CSR Perangsang Selangor, handed 100 gifts to the selected recipients.

 

5 February 2017 continued PBR 4.0 Held in Surau Flat Seri Berembang and Kompleks Tarbiah Al Hawariyyun, Port Klang. The programme begins with the Dhuha Talk deliverd by Ustaz Khalid Nayan. Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali officially launched the ceremony and handed 100 gifts to the eligible recipients.

 

This event continued with ‘gotong-royong for the surau’, kids colouring contest, health screening and eradicate campaigns. The event ended with the Kenduri Rakyat which was attended by 300 people comprising of the local communities

 

11 February 2017 : The third PBR Programme Held at Kampung Batu Arang, Kuang Rawang, District of Selayang.was officiated by Taman Templer State Assembly Member YB Hj Zaidy Talib. He also handed 100 gifts to the eligible recipients witnessed by Ustaz Muslim Zainudin of the Islamic Religious Department Officer.

 

This event started with ‘sembang santai’ led by celebrities Ustaz Zul Hazwan together with the Bocey a comedian. 400 participants from the serrounding area take part in the friendy soccer match, Real Chef Cooking Tournament, kids colouring contest, archery, Malaysian traditional game Congkak, telematch, ball juggling, martial art demo, demonstration engine oil exchange, health screening, dispose bin handing over ceremony and “Kenduri Rakyat”.

 

11-12 February 2017 : The forth PBR was held in Sabak Bernam. Launched by CSR Board of Director Mustafa Ayub who handed over the daily needs for about 100 eligible recipients held in Masjid Al-Abrar, Batu 2, Sapintas,Sabak Bernam. Also present Ustaz Solihin Mukyi, State Assembly Member of Sabak Bernam .

 

The Programme began with Dakwah Talk with Malaysian Islamic Special Celebrities Icon Imam Muda Hassan and actor, Adam Corrie. The talk Programme was successfully conducted by Ustaz Shaiful Hanif as the moderator.

 

400 participants from the nearby area participated in friendly street soccer match, gotong-royong Surau, engine oil replacement, free haircut service, archery and kids colouring contest. . Perangsang Selangor also presented daily needs to 100 less fortune recipients and followed with the ”kenduri rakyat”.

 

12 February 2017 : The 5th PBR 4.0 at Padang Klinik Desa, Kampung Hulu Chuchoh, Sungai Pelek, Sepang, attended by 300 local. The programme began with Dhuha talk deliverd by Ustaz Fazli, followed by traditional game, ‘gotong royong’, telematch, colouring contest, archery and Smart Solat Clinic.

 

19 Februari 2017 :The 6th PBR 4.0 was held at Surau Al-Hijrah Seksyen 7, Shah Alam. The opening ceremony was officiated by Mustafa Ayub CSR board of director Perangsang Selangor and witness by State Assembly Member of Kota Anggerik YB Yaakob Sapari.and Ustaz Hj Halim, Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam (MBSA) Counsellor. Perangsang Selangor also presented daily needs to 100 selected recipients

 

The Programme started with ‘Sembang Santai” by Ustaz Ahmad Dasuki together with Cikgu NM Rajan followed by Casual Women’s Health Talk delivered by Dr Mastura Mohd Mokhtar.In addiction there are also such as fitness exercises, free health’s screenings, free blood glucose checks, blood donation, Diabetic awareness exhibition.

23 October – 3 November 2017 : Mutawwif Training & Consultancy Academy (AMTC) Sdn Bhd organised a Professional Mutawwif Training Programme attended by 30 participants as part of the Rangsangan Kerjaya Rakyat Selangor (RKRS) CSR initiative under Perangsang Selangor. The programme focuses on developing entrepreneurial and management skills of a pilgrimage guide which includes 20 technical and soft skill modules such as Arabic language communication, Mutawwif roles and responsibilities, Islamic history and public speaking. The 2-week programme was held at Al-Azhar Camp, Morib.

29 September 2017 : Young Entrepreneurs of Selangor Building Contractors (KOBINAS) training programme initiate by Perangsang Selangor under RKRS Skills Training Programme has been conducted by YSP Management and Training Sdn Bhd starting from 25th-29th September 2017 at Darul Ehsan Institute (IDE), Seksyen 15, Shah Alam. A total of 30 new building contractors participated in the training to enhance their skill and qualification to enable them to attain a Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) building license to perform construction work.

6 November 2017 : A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) Signing Ceremony between Perangsang Selangor and Rangsangan Kerjaya Rakyat Selangor (RKRS) training providers were held at Meeting Room 1, Level 1A, Plaza Perangsang.Perangsang Selangor was represented by Associate Director of Public Relations, Media and CSR, Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali and witnessed by Director of Legal, Norsham Ishak. Four training providers have been selected to carry-out the RKRS initiatives this year namely MJ Fatonah Sdn Bhd (livestock industry), YSP Management & Training Sdn Bhd (young contractors), AMTC Sdn Bhd (Mutawwif) and Hallmark Access Sdn Bhd (business and financial foundation softskills training).

20 May 2017 : In the final match of Dato’ Mokhtar Dahari’s Cup sponsored by Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) SMK Dato’ Harun emerged as the winner by defeating SMK Saujana Impian 3-1 at Subang Jaya Municipal council (MPSJ) Stadium. As champions, SMK Dato’ Harun took home a cash prize of RM10,000, medal and trophy while SMK Saujana Impian received cash prize of RM7,000 and medal as runner-up. Meanwhile, SMK Kajang took third place with a cash prize of RM5,000 and medal after defeating SMK Rahman Putra in fourth place with RM3,000 and medal.

 

The prizes were presented by the His Royal Highness Tengku Amir Shah ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj, The Raja Muda of Selangor witnessed by the Main Committee Chairman of Dato’ Mokhtar Dahari’s Cup Football Championship, Datuk Emran Kadir, Perangsang Selangor Board of Director, Mustaffa Kamil Ayub, Perangsang Selangor Chief Operating Officer, Suzila Khairuddin as well as Deputy Director Selangor State Education Department, officials from Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya (MPSJ), Selangor Football Association (SFA), Petaling Pedana and Petaling Utama District Education Office, parents and spectators.

 

The tournament was participated by thirty-two (32) secondary schools under 10 education offices from every district in Selangor. In addition, a total of 160 players and teachers participated in a seminar on ‘career as a professional footballer’ aimed to provide an overview as a professional football player.The tournament has also become a field to unleash young football talents to represent the Selangor team in particular and Malaysia in general one day. Through last year’s championship, 43 players have been signed by 19 state and clubs, including Selangor, PKNS, Johor Darul Takzim JDT), Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Malacca and Negeri Sembilan.

7 November 2017 : Perangsang Selangor’s Sports For All CSR programme has been shortlisted among the top 10 in Asia for the ‘Best Sports CSR Initiative of the Year’ category. The competition recorded the highest number of participants this year with a total of 400 entries coming from 47 countries across Asia. The gold, silver and bronze trophies were presented to the winners during a gala dinner held in Bangkok attended by more than 300 delegates and representatives. Also, present Perangsang Selangor Chief Operating Officer, Suzila Khairuddin together with Associate Director of Public Relations, Media and CSR, Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali and his team members

23-24 Sept 2017: The 3rd series of archery clinic for Kuala Langat district was conducted at SK Jugra, Banting, which involved 64 orphans, less fortunate people and local communities. The programme was conducted by Alpha Brothers Archery Club under Perangsang Selangor’s Sports for All initiative.

16-17 Sept 2017 : Perangsang Selangor organised a Sports for All Archery Clinic conducted by Alpha Brothers Archery Club at SK Puncak Alam 3. The programme aimed to provide exposure and promote the sport to the local communities and youths managed to attract 150 participants from nearby areas.

25 October 2017 : The 9th Sports For All bowling clinic was conducted by JAB Bowling Academy at the Dreambowl Bowling Centre Nilai. A total of 83 students from the Kuala Langat district participated in this CSR programme sponsored by Perangsang Selangor.

17 Sept 2017 : Perangsang Selangor organised a bowling clinic conducted by JAB Bowling Academy under the Perangsang Selangor’s Sports for All programme for 65 ladies at Ampang Super Bowl, Ampang Point. The purpose of the bowling clinic is to provide the community with an opportunity to be involved in sports and to promote a healthy lifestyle.

23-24 Sept 2017 : The 3rd series of ‘sepak takraw‘clinic for Sepang district was conducted at Dewan Orang Ramai Serin, Cyberjaya which attracted 104 youths aged between 10 to 18 years. The main objective of the clinic is to promote the traditional sport while inculcating a healthy lifestyle among the youths.

16-17 Sept 2017 : Perangsang Selangor through Kelab Masyarakat Bola Rotan organised a sepak takraw tournament and clinic at Kompleks Rakan Muda, Klang. The two-day event managed to attract 150 participants of all ages from the Klang district.

4-5 November 2017 : Alpha Brother Archery Club organised the 6th series of archery clinic under the Sports for All programme at Puchong Archery Club Range, Putra Perdana Park, Puchong. 79 students between 6-16 years of age from schools in Sepang district took part in the event. The CSR initiative is aimed at promoting the sport among youths and to teach them the basic techniques in archery.
