Eco Free Market

24 March 2018 : Perangsang Selangor, the main sponsor of The Eco Free Market (EFM) with a total of RM87,500 worth of funds allocated for 10 programmes in Selangor organised the 2nd series at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), Seri Kembangan. The EFM serves as a platform for the public to be involved in charity by distributing personal or unused essential items to the needy and less fortunate people for free. This event also generates public awareness of charitable activities with environmental and economic significant towards sustainable communities. A total of 24 booths offering used items such as clothes, home accessories and decorations, reading materials, children’s games, electrical appliances and stationeries were set up for the event which was attended by some 500 visitors.

Eco-Free Market

11 February 2018 : Perangsang Selangor in collaboration with Eco Free Market, a non-governmental organisation and Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam has successfully organised a free market at Padang A, Dataran Shah Alam. The objective of the event is to empower communities by venturing into sustainable projects at local neighbourhood with the support of local authorities and to engage with wider public towards the benefits of involving in charity programme. This initiative also attracted and encouraged youths to participate in good course and activities. Perangsang Selangor contributed 250 t-shirts and caps worth of RM3,750.

November 19, 2015 : Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) has contributed equipment as inital capital to former Selangor People Career Stimulus (SPCS) participants and additional assistance to potential mobile spa entrepreneur under Selangor Entrepreneurship Stimulus (SES) programme.

 

A total of 90 livestock participants trained by MJ Fatonah, 25 instant printing participants trained by ANQR Flash Stamp, 30 sewing participants trained by Kamsiah Sewing Academy, 24 contractor participants (KOBINAS) trained by YSP Management and Training Sdn Bhd, 6 air conditioners maintenance participants trained by Adimega Sdn Bhd, 6 motorcycle maintenance participants trained by Adimega Sdn Bhd and 20 mobile spa participants trained by Tini Beauty and Slimming received the contributions presented by Mustaffa Kamil Ayub, Corporate Social Responsibility Board Committee Member, Perangsang Selangor witnessed by The Honorouble Amirudin Shari, Executive Councillor for Youth Development and Sports, Culture and Entrepreneur Development and Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali, Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, Perangsang Selangor. The overall 2015 contribution for phase 1 and 2 including Fenton Medicine amounted to RM937,211.00.

 

The ceremony was held at the Ballroom, Jubli Perak Hall, Selangor State Secretariat attended by 200 people including participants and training providers, as well as Perangsang Selangor staff.

Final Series Of Badminton Clinic For Senior Citizens

23 August 2017 : The final series of badminton clinic for senior citizens under Perangsang Selangor’s Sports for All programme was held at Champion Arena Badminton Hall, Kg Sungai Kayu Ara, Petaling Jaya. A total of 45 senior citizens aged between 46 to 74 years from Selangor participated in the programme. A total of 4 badminton clinics for senior citizens have been conducted by former national player, Jason Wong this year.

8 August 2018 : Perangsang Selangor through its Selangor Community Responsibility Stimulus programme handed over financial contributions worth RM19,500 to 11 recipients which consists of welfare organisations, non-governmental organisations, schools, higher education institutions and ‘surau’ as funds to cover their operational costs and upgrading of infrastructure. The contribution was presented by YM Raja Shahreen Raja Othman, Chairman of Perangsang Selangor at Kayangan 5, Plaza Perangsang.

Food Preparation (Cendol And Laksa) Training Programme

13-20 February 2017 : The Selangor People Career Stimulus (SPCS) programme for 2016 ended with Food Preparation (Cendol and Laksa) training programme conducted by Hijrah Training and Management at Hijrah and Management Training Center, Seksyen 20, Shah Alam. 30 participants attended the 8 days course which include theoretical and practical sessions.

 

The participants learned the right way to prepare cendol and laksa, visited a stall owned by a former SPCS participant, exposed to entrepreneurship skills such as marketing technique and business plan as well as the relevant process and procedures in dealing with local authorities. The programme received sponsorship worth RM55,380 from Perangsang Selangor.

HRH RAJA MUDA CUP

10 October 2017 : The 30th edition of Raja Muda of Selangor Football Championship was officially launched by Perangsang Selangor’s Chief Operating Officer, Suzila Khairuddin witnessed by the Organising Chairman, YDH Dato’ Emran Kadir. In total, 576 players under the age of 12 representing 32 schools from the Petaling Perdana and Petaling Utama district will be taking part in this year’s tournament. Perangsang Selangor emerged as the main sponsor for the 5th time in a row with a total sponsorship of RM100,000.

Initiative Peduli Rakyat – Daerah Kuala Selangor

11 March 2018 : The 4th series of Karnival Inisiatif Peduli Rakyat (KIPR) tour and the 1st for year 2018 kicked off at Kampung Sungai Gulang-Gulang, Tanjung Karang, Kuala Selangor. During the event, Inisiatif Peduli Rakyat (IPR) assistance worth RM1.6 million were distributed to a total of 673 recipients from the Kuala Selangor district. The KIPR is aimed at promoting the IPR programmes and reaching out to the community especially the less fortunate people in the state of Selangor.
