Air Conditioning Installation And Maintenance Services Course

November 2-7, 2015 : The Selangor People Career Stimulus (SPCS) programme under the auspices of Corporate Social Responsibility Department, Perangsang Selangor sponsored 20 youths and self-employed individuals, unemployed and selected students to participate in the Air Conditioning Installation and Maintenance Services course at the Industrial Training Institute, Kuala Lumpur conducted operated by Adimega Sdn Bhd.

 

Participants were exposed to theoretical and practical maintenance of air conditioning systems and introduction to business fundamentals. With this training, participants have the opportunity to pursue a career as a technician or assistant air-conditioning technicians and entrepreneurs.

 

Perangsang Selangor allocated RM39,600 for this 6 days course. Mohd Ismail Zam Zam, Assistant Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, Perangsang Selangor officiated the course.

June 16, 2015 : The first bicycle clinic series for 2015 has started at SMK Sungai Besar, Sabak Bernam with the participation of 26 boys and 14 girls aged between 13 and 14 years old. The Sports for All programme is a programme under the Corporate Social Responsibility, initiative of Perangsang Selangor aimed to provide exposure and awareness among youths towards cycling. Perangsang Selangor has appointed Clever Speda School led by experience coach Mohd Sabri, Hadi Putra Ismail and Mahadzir Hamad to provide guidance and consequently discover new talents to be absorbed into the Perangsang Selangor Elite team and compete in local as well as international tournaments.

 

The bicycle clinic was launched by Mohd Ismail Zam Zam, Assistant Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, Perangsang Selangor.

January 23, 2015 : Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (KDEB) and its subsidiaries organised a Redistribution of Business Tithe ceremony at the Club Room, Plaza Perangsang.

 

The tithe was presented by Suzila Khairuddin, General Manager, Finance and Administration to 21 recipients, consisting of underprivileged students currently pursuing Islamic studies s in local and overseas universities and mosque amounting to RM83,500.

 

Ustaz Zaharudin Muhammad, Chief Religious Officer and Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali, Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, Perangsang Selangor were present during the ceremony.

Clinical Cupping Therapy Entrepreneurship Course Sponsored By Perangsang Selangor

December 12-13, 2015 : Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) throught its Selangor People Career Stimulus (SPCS) programme sponsored 20 single mothers and traditional medicine practitioners to participate in the 2 days training course at Sani Hotel, Kuala Lumpur conducted by House of Cupping.

Participants were exposed to potential cupping therapy business, branding and marketing strategies, clinical cupping techniques and standard operating procedures, demonstration and practical. The participants were provided cupping therapy sets and also given an extensive training on hygiene and clinical equipment usage in order to convince the patients to undergo cupping therapy as well as to protect them from any infection.

SPCS programme is one of Perangsang Selangor’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, to create accredited clinical cupping therapy entrepreneurs in accordance to the Ministry of Health’s standards. The trained single mother and traditional medicine practitioners would be able to generate income by starting their own clinical cupping therapy business. Mohd Ismail Zam Zam, Assistant Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, Perangsang Selangor presented certificates to all participants at the end of the course.

March 16, 2015 : Perangsang Selangor through its Selangor Community Responsibility Stimulus (SCRS) programme contributed financial aid amounting to RM20,800 to Zulfadli Daud, a disabled person who received RM3,000 to buy 2 units of wheelchairs, ‘Jaringan Siswazah Malaysia’ (JASA), Kajang who received RM5,000 to purchase food and other necessities for flood relief mission in Kelantanas well as house cleaning assistance for the flood victims, Selangor Islamic Students Association (SISA), Gombak who received RM2,000 for the Ivory Tower Village programme, University Putra Malaysia, Environment Friends Society of Malaysia, Shah Alam received RM2,000 for 2015 Lestari Alam Open Tenpin Bowling Championships, Fire and Rescue Veterans Associations received RM6,800 to purchase one unit of prosthetic leg and Selangor Mental Welfare Society received RM2,000 to cover the daily cost operations.

 

The contribution is part of Perangsang Selangor’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme to assist the needy. Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali, Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility, Perangsang Selangor presented the contributions to the representatives at the Club Room, Plaza Perangsang.

January 2, 2015 : Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (KDEB) and Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) have joined the Selangor State Corporations and Corporate Post-Flood programme for the humanitarian mission of the flood victims in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Perak.

 

The launching and cheque presentation ceremony was officiated by The Right Honourable Mohamed Azmin Ali, Chief Minister of Selangor. YM Raja Dato’ Idris Raja Kamarudin, Chairman of Perangsang Selangor presented KDEB’s donation of RM50,000 to Mohamed Azmin while Perangsang Selangor’s contribution of RM100,000 was presented by Mustaffa Kamil Ayub, Board of Director, Perangsang Selangor at the SUK Lobby, Bangunan Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Shah Alam.

 

Dato' Noordin Sulaiman, Selangor State Financial Officer, Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Islamic Affairs, Malay Customs & Heritage, Rural Development and Traditional Village, Dato' Teng Chang Khim, Chairman of the Standing Committee for Investment, Industry & Commerce, Small & Medium Industry and Transportation, Dr Daroyah Alwi, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Health, Welfare, Women and Family Development and senior state officials were present at the ceremony.

 

The contributions were part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives to help alleviate the people’s anguish who suffered huge losses due to floods that hit several states recently.

CSR Perangsang Selangor Recognized Internationally

June 19, 2015 : Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) has gained international recognition by winning Asia’s Top Social Empowerment Award twice at the Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Award 2015 in conjunction with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) International Summit 2015 held in Macau. 300 corporate firms from 32 countries in Asia participated under various categories and Perangsang Selangor was among the 22 organisations awarded as the winner of Asia Social Empowerment Award.

 

Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Awards recognises corporations that championed CSR efforts in enhancing the social welfare of the local community. Perangsang Selangor through its CSR programme has contributed RM1.2 million for organising the Selangor Entrepreneurship Development Programme (SEDP). In addition, RM3.5 million was spent to implement the Selangor Sports Stimulus programme focusing on sports development such as bowling, cycling, badminton, squash, football and swimming as well as the Selangor Community Responsibility Stimulus programme for religious programmes, donation and contribution, event management and strategic cooperation programmes with non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

 

Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Award was divided into six categories namely Social Empowerment, Investment in People, Health Promotion, Green Leadership, SME CSR and Responsible Business Leadership. The evaluation criteria include the efforts taken to assist those in need of capital to start a business. Single mother Nor Faezah Mohd Yatim is among those who had benefited from the SEDP scheme aimed at promoting entrepreneurship development. With the assistance of portable spa equipment by Perangsang Selangor, Faezah managed to earn RM2,000 monthly to cover her five children’s school expenses aged between 5-18 years old.

 

In 2014, Perangsang Selangor has provided assistance to 350 youths, graduates, unemployed, single mothers, pensioners and the disabled worth RM2.2 million. Previously known as the Selangor Graduates Stimulus Programme (SGSP), the high in demand courses offered are Livestocks, Fast Printing, Fast Foods (Cendol and Laksa), Motorcycle Maintenance, Building Contractor, Sewing, Cake Baking, Mutawif and Early Childhood Education.

November 19, 2015 : Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) has contributed equipment as inital capital to former Selangor People Career Stimulus (SPCS) participants and additional assistance to potential mobile spa entrepreneur under Selangor Entrepreneurship Stimulus (SES) programme.

 

A total of 90 livestock participants trained by MJ Fatonah, 25 instant printing participants trained by ANQR Flash Stamp, 30 sewing participants trained by Kamsiah Sewing Academy, 24 contractor participants (KOBINAS) trained by YSP Management and Training Sdn Bhd, 6 air conditioners maintenance participants trained by Adimega Sdn Bhd, 6 motorcycle maintenance participants trained by Adimega Sdn Bhd and 20 mobile spa participants trained by Tini Beauty and Slimming received the contributions presented by Mustaffa Kamil Ayub, Corporate Social Responsibility Board Committee Member, Perangsang Selangor witnessed by The Honorouble Amirudin Shari, Executive Councillor for Youth Development and Sports, Culture and Entrepreneur Development and Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali, Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, Perangsang Selangor. The overall 2015 contribution for phase 1 and 2 including Fenton Medicine amounted to RM937,211.00.

 

The ceremony was held at the Ballroom, Jubli Perak Hall, Selangor State Secretariat attended by 200 people including participants and training providers, as well as Perangsang Selangor staff.

February 17, 2015 : 30 recipients comprising single mothers and housewives from low income families received 'Mobile Spa’ set contributions worth RM1,500 each from Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) under its Selangor Stimulus Entrepreneurship programme. Each ‘Mobile Spa’ set includes 1 unit of ‘tangas’ chair, massage oils, pure essential oils, body scrubs, sauna herbs, eye pillow, furnaces, batik cloth, towel, ‘tangas’ cloth, electric cooker set (for herbs), special bags, operations management set such as appointment books, sales record book, customer personal forms and customer feedback forms.

 

The total contribution of RM45,000 was presented by Mohd Ismail Zam Zam, Assistant Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, Perangsang Selangor at Tini’s Spa Beauty Slimming, Taman Dagang Ampang.

 

The contributions were part of Perangsang Selangor’s efforts to help them start their own business to generate additional income for their families.

September 23, 2015 : Under 16 football team Perangsang Munro Kickers (PMK) under the auspices of the Selangor Sports Stimulus (SSS) programme sponsored by Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) has defeated the local team ‘Tunas Asas Bola Sepak Safa’ (TABS) Kota Kinabalu with 1-0 scoreline through a "sudden death" penalty kick to clinch the Borneo Football Championship Cup 2015.

 

The final match which was held at the Penampang Stadium, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah had to be decided on penalties after both teams ended the game goalless until the end of full time and extra time. PMK goalkeeper, Muhammad Aliff Aiman Mazlan did well to save TABS’ attempt while the winning goal was scored by winger Yus Hafiq Iqmal Yusri.

 

Meanwhile, in the third and fourth matchsaw Datuk Peter Mojuntin Sports School beat SK Likas 1-0 also through a ‘sudden death’ penalty kick while Jubilo beat TABS Menggatal 3-0 in the fifth and sixth place playoff.

 

The championship organised by Borneo Sports & Adventure Holiday was held for three days beginning from 20 September 2015 involving youth teams from Malaysia and Indonesia.

 

The PMK football team has received sponsorship worth RM369,230 from Perangsang Selangor since 2014.

August 15, 2015 : Perangsang Selangor through its Corporate Social Responsibility programme has funded the monthly treatment cost for 20 autism children aged between 4-11 years from less fortunate families under the Letzhop Nouri Autistic Care Centre (Letzhop).

 

The total amount of sponsorship for 12 months are worth RM48,000. Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali, Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, Perangsang Selangor presented the contirbution cheque to Mohd Fakhri Nor Affandi, Principal/Manager of Letzhop at the Syawal Open House which was held in Selayang Paragon Utama, Batu Caves.

December 23, 2015 : Nor Hidayah and Nur Muhammad from Gombak, Selangor have been living in deprivation after being abandoned by their father for the past 2 years. As a company that cares, Perangsang Selangor through its Corporate Social Responsibility Department contributed school supplies such as uniforms, bags, shoes, books, stationery and cash for payment of school fees amounted to RM2,500.

 

The contribution was presented by Norazlan Jantan from Corporate Social Responsibility to Armina Mat Rashid, mother of Nor Hidayah and Nur Muhammad. Hopefully this contribution will ease their burden and provide encouragement to both of them to study harder to achieve success.

May 27, 2015 : Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) contributed RM30,000 to Sekolah Kebangsaan Raja Muda (Integrated) Section 4, Shah Alam to build a therapy room called 'Azzahra' for Special Education Integration Programme (SEIP) students.

 

SK Raja Muda (Integrated) has a total of 66 special students and began SEIP session since 1999 where students with special needs have the opportunity to participate in relevant and appropriate programmes aimed to optimise their potential and produce skilled workforce thus improving their quality of life.

 

Khairunnisa M Zain, mother of standard 4 student, Amar Ariz Abdul Muhaimin said, "Amar Ariz was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 1 and since joining PPKI at this school, his development is very encouraging where he is able to learn, speak English fluently and operate a computer".

 

The opening ceremony was officiated by the Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility Perangsang Selangor, Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali, witnessed by the Principal of SK Raja Muda (Integrated), Kamarruzaman Yahya, Senior Supervisor of Special Education, State Education Department, Habibah Ahmad and Chairman of Parent Teachers Associations SK Raja Muda, Mohd Zikrul Hakim Noor.

July 10, 2015 : The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Unit and Islamic Religious Department of Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) in collaboration with Nurul Iman Mosque, Telok Gadong, Klang, organised a breaking of fast ceremony with residents together with the less fortunate and orphans in conjunction with the month of Ramadhan.

 

In the event, the less fortunate Muslims and non-Muslims as well as orphans from nearby area received ‘duit raya’ and cookies which was presented by YM Raja Dato' Idris Raja Kamarudin, Chairman of Perangsang Selangor. He also presented RM5,000 donation to Masjid Nurul Iman.

 

The ceremony also saw a presentation of sermon by Ustaz Zaharudin Muhammad, Chief Religious Officer, Perangsang Selangor followed by the breaking of fast and congregational prayers.

August 27, 2015 : The main committee of Dato’ Mokhtar Dahari’s Cup Football Championship in collaboration with the Selangor Education Department and the District Education Office (DEO) Petaling Perdana, Petaling Utama and Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) organised the 2nd Dato’ Mokhtar Dahari’s Cup Football Championship from 5 September to 4 October 2015.

 

Mustaffa Kamil Ayub, Board of Director of Perangsang Selangor presented a donation cheque worth RM250,000 as the main sponsor of Dato’ Mokhtar Dahari and HRH Raja Muda Selangor Cup Football Championship to the tournament Chairman, Dato' Emran Kadir witnessed by the His Royal Highness, the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj, who also presented the Dato' Mokhtar Dahari’s Cup to Dato' Emran as a sign of support and to ensure the progress of football in the state of Selangor. The presentation ceremony was held at the Istana Kayangan Shah Alam.

 

The 2015 edition has its own prestige recording as many as 576 football players under 18 years of age representing 32 secondary schools from nine districts (inclusive of 10 schools under the administration of the District Education Office - DEO) in action compared to only one district (Petaling) last year.

 

The main goal of the tournament is to identify as well as harness the young football talents and to be absorbed into Selangor state team. The schools that are participating in this year’s tournament are among the best teams during the Districts Schools Sports Council (DSSC) football tournament earlier this year.".

 

The winner will receive a cash prize of RM10,000,medal and trophy, runners-up RM7,000 and medal, while 3rd RM5,000 and 4th place RM3,000, medal and certificate. Eight teams that qualify for the quarter-finals will also receive a pair of jersey sponsored by Perangsang Selangor.
