Sports For All – Football

10 February 2018 : Perangsang Selangor through Munro Sports, a training provider under the Sports for All programme organised the 2nd series of ‘#MyParentsMyCoach’ soccer clinic held at SK Raja Muda, Section 4, Shah Alam. More than 30 participants from SRK Section 13, SRK Section 24 and SK Raja Muda attended the programme to create interest and increase their knowledge about football.

1 September 2018 : Perangsang Selangor in collaboration with Bola Rotan Media and Publication organised a programme called ‘sepak takraw vs obesity’ at the International Islamic University Sports Center, Gombak. The programme which focused on the overweight and obesity community managed to attract 97 participants. Also present, national player, Shahidan Md Ali who shared a few tips and techniques in sepak takraw.

11 August 2018 : Perangsang Selangor through its Sports For All training provider, Bola Rotan Media & publication organised the ‘Sepak Takraw vs Obesity’ programme for the Hulu Langat district. The programme was conducted by Mohsen Amdan at Taman Impian Ehsan sepak takraw court, Balakong. The programme is targeted to provide awareness and instil a healthy lifestyle especially to those who are experiencing obesity problems.

The students who participated in 'Trio Impian Perangsang' in Kuala Selangor district

The Perangsang Dream Trio programme kicked-off its 2017 edition in Kuala Langat district held on 8 January 2017 at SRK Sijangkang Jaya. The programme managed to attract a total of 48 participants between 12 to 32 years of age aimed to promote sepak takraw to all walks of life, encourage a healthy lifestyle and to elevate the sports tradition in the state of Selangor.

The programme was then organised in the Gombak district on 14-15 January 2017 at the Selayang Hospital Sports Complex. A total of 40 participants from the nearby community between 10 to 47 years of age participated in the sepak takraw clinic.

On 4-5 February 2017 the 4th series of Perangsang Dream Trio was held at the Kuala Selangor Indoor Stadium, in the Kuala Selangor district. The programme attracted more than 70 local communities aged between 10 to 54 years. The programme was enlivened with the presence of Mustaffa Kamil Ayub, Perangsang Selangor CSR Board Member.

The programme continued with the district of Hulu Selangor located at the Multipurpose Hall Sungai Selisek, Behrang on on 18-19 February 2017 which more than 64 participation from the local community aged between 11 to 42 years.

The final Sports for All – Sepak Takraw programme was organised on 25-26 February 2017 at SMK Seri Bendena Hall, Sabak Bernam. A total of 67 participants from the surrounding community aged between 9 to 56 years participated in the programme.

Overall, the programme has attracted a total of 515 participants in Selangor since it started in 2016.

The tournament managed to attract 98 sepak takraw players and fans within the district. The programme started with a sepak takraw clinic followed by the league matches and final game.

9 November 2017 : Perangsang Selangor through its appointed training provider Kelab Skuasy Elit Astaka organised the 2nd series of Sports for All squash clinic with special needs students. The clinic was held at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sultan Alam Shah (2), Petaling Jaya and aimed to provide an opportunity for the students to be involved in sports as well as to improve their body strength, balance and coordination skills. The 1st series was held in May at the Astaka Sports Club, Petaling Jaya

May 18, 2015 : Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Unit has contributed RM75,000 for the refurbishment of two squash courts at SK Sultan Alam Shah (1), Petaling Jaya, with the intention to provide a facility and opportunity for special students between 7 to 12 years of age to participate and improve their skills in squash. Apart from that, the contribution also covers the sponsorship of organising the Junior Squash Tournament, T-shirts, glasses and coaching led by professional trainers from the Squash Racquet Association of Selangor (SRAS).

 

In addition, Perangsang Selangor in collaboration with SRAS and the Petaling Utama District Education Department have organised the 'Sports for All' programme. Under the programme, students were given an introduction to squash by professional SARS coach beginning from April to December 2015. Talented players will also have a chance to be selected into the Perangsang Selangor Elite team and compete in local as well as international tournaments.

 

Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali, Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility, Perangsang Selangor said, “The contribution is part of Perangsang Selangor’s corporate social responsibility initiative to develop squash among young athletes in Selangor and to produce champions in the future".

SRAI Seksyen 19 Wins The Raja Muda Cup

18 November 2017 : Sekolah Rendah Agama Integrasi (SRAI), Seksyen 19 was crowned champion of the 30th Raja Muda of Selangor’s Cup (RMSC) when they defeated SK Seksyen 24 3-1 in the final at SUK Selangor Club. The prizes were presented by YB Amirudin Shari, State EXCO and witnessed by Datuk Emran Kadir, Organising Chairman and Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali, Associate Director Public Relations, Media and CSR of Perangsang Selangor.

SSS Athelete Excels In The 39th Malaysian International Open Bowling Championship

Teenage bowler Nurul Ayunni Junaidi, under the patronage of Selangor Sports Stimulus programme (SSS) sponsored by Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor), won the Women’s Grade category in the 39th Malaysian International Open Bowling Championship held at Sunway Mega lanes, Sunway Pyramid recently.

The 9-days tournament which began from 27 April to 7 May, 2016 have drawn 270 participants from bowling clubs across Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, Australia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, India, Thailand, Kuwait, USA, England, Philippines, Chinese Taipei and Taiwan.

In the final, Nurul Ayunni managed to collect a total of 1,644 pin falls defeating her closest rival Puteri Nurshahira also from Malaysia with a total of 1,616 pin fall. As champion, Nurul Ayunni took home the championship trophy and a cash prize of RM3,000.00.

The talented youth was trained by Razif Abu Bakar, Seintak Bowling Club coach for the past three years. Previously, Nurul Ayunni has also participated in several national competitions and among her outstanding achievements was as the champion in Women’s Doubles category at the MSSM Tenpin Bowling (2015) tournament, champion in the Women’s Category at the National Youth Circuit Tenpin Bowling Championship 2015 (Sabah) and as runner-up in the National Junior Circuit Bowling Championships 2015 (Sarawak).
