20 October 2018 : The fourth series of Singgah Mesra Perangsang Selangor programme involving almost 200 cycling enthusiasts in a 32km on road charity ride took place at Pekan Bagan Nakhoda Omar, Sabak Bernam. The fun ride which was flagged off by Abu Hassan Bidin, Bagan Nakhoda Omar Village Chief, started from Dewan Seri Nakhoda across Kampung Sungai Tengar and Kampung Parit Baharu. The ride programme also saw 20 individuals from the asnaf (eligible to receive welfare aid) group receiving cash contributions or trading equipments, followed by ‘kenduri rakyat’ attended by 300 local communities. About 50 youngsters took part in ‘hafazan’, ‘azan’ and colouring competition. The community activity is part of the Selangor Community Responsibility Stimulus programme under Perangsang Selangor’s CSR initiative aimed at providing an opportunity for employees to get close to the local community while contributing to the needy and less privileged.

14 October 2018 : Perangsang Selangor in collaboration with Eco Free Market (EFM), a non-governmental organisation and Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam successfully organised a free market and launching of EFM mobile apps by Shah Alam Mayor at Padang B, Dataran Shah Alam. The objective of the event is to empower communities by venturing into sustainable projects at local neighbourhood with the support of local authorities and to engage with wider public towards the benefits of giving especially in encouraging youth development.

14 October 2018 : Perangsang Selangor in collaboration with Bola Rotan Media and Publication organised the 6th series of ‘sepak takraw vs obesity’ programme at Taman Kapar Indah, Klang. The programme which focused on the overweight and obesity community managed to attract 56 participants.

13-14 October 2018 : Perangsang Selangor through its Sports for All training provider, Kelab Memanah Alpha Brothers organised an archery clinic at Kuala Selangor Cabin Camp involving more than 80 students and teachers from Sekolah Kebangsaan Doktor Abdul Latif, Sabak Bernam and Sekolah Kebangsaan Khir Johari, Sabak Bernam aimed at providing exposure and promoting healthy lifestyle among the communities.

6 October 2018 : Perangsang Selangor through its Sports for All training provider, Kelab Memanah Alpha Brothers organised an archery clinic at Kuala Selangor Cabin Camp involving 71 students and teachers from SMK Puncak Alam and SK Dato Maharajalela, aimed at providing exposure and promoting healthy lifestyle among youths and teachers in the state of Selangor.

6 October 2018 : Perangsang Selangor in collaboration with Bola Rotan Media and Publication organised a programme called ‘sepak takraw vs obesity’ at Balai Raya, Salak, Taman Seroja, Sepang. The programme which focused on the overweight and obesity community managed to attract 56 participants.
