Investor Relations Policy

INTRODUCTION

As a public listed company, KPS Berhad is committed to providing accurate, transparent and consistent information to the shareholders, stakeholders and the public in a timely and orderly manner.

The purpose of the Investor Relations (”IR”) Policy is to support this commitment.

The IR Policy shall act as:

  • Compliance with Bursa Securities’ guidelines and other governing laws and regulations regarding disclosure of material information about KPS Berhad.
  • Management of realistic investor expectations by making all required disclosures on a broadly disseminated basis with a balanced view of the prospects for KPS Berhad and its business.

OBJECTIVE

KPS Berhad strives to maintain its corporate credibility and develop investors’ confidence in the Company by practicing a structured approach on the communicating of material information.

  • Serve as a statement to the Company’s shareholders and other stakeholders on how KPS Berhad intends to keep them informed of material developments and maintaining effective communications with them.
  • Provide a framework of processes and procedures upon which the Company can successfully implement its IR programme.
  • In formulating this Policy, the Company has considered the best practice contained in the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance, and its disclosure obligations contained in the Bursa Securities Listing Requirements, with which the Company is bound to comply.

SCOPE

The IR Policy shall apply to the KPS Berhad Board of Directors and employees. The Policy is meant to serve the Company’s shareholders and stakeholders.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

The guiding principles of the IR Policy are in line with Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”)’ Main Market Listing Requirement (“MMLR”) of Chapter 9, Continuing Disclosure & The Malaysia Code on Corporate Governance.
