Perangsang Selangor Clinches Silver Award As Employer Of Choice For 2017 By MIHRM

SUBANG JAYA, 10 NOVEMBER 2017 – Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) has been named Silver Award winner of the “Employer of Choice” (Private Sector) for 2017, by the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM) at the 17th Malaysia Human Resource Awards which was held on 9 November 2017. MIHRM is the sole professional and independent body for Human Resource Management authorised to certify Human Resource (HR) practitioners in Malaysia. It is also affiliated to other reputable regional HR associations namely the World Federation of People Management Association (USA) and Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resource Management (APFHRM).
Chief Executive Officer of Perangsang Selangor, Ahmad Fariz Hassan expressed, “Perangsang Selangor is honoured to be recognised by MIHRM in this year’s Employer of Choice category. The award signifies that we have an effective and systematic approach in managing our employees. We believe in creating sustainable value for the company by inculcating a high-performance culture and prioritising on our human capital development”.
The MIHRM Employer of Choice Award recognises sustained and continuous commitment by organisations and corporations for the development of its human talents through the alignment and achievement of HR strategies (with business objectives, goals and KPI’s), talent management, leadership development, performance management, progressive and dynamic HR management policies, strong support of both Government’s strategic reform initiatives and continuous application of HR system and technology. Ultimately, through the award and the related recognition, MIHRM aims to promote HR as an integral ‘business partner’ and demonstrate the importance of HR strategy in achieving organisational goals.
“Since 2016, we have successfully completed a number of new acquisitions and we intend to expand these investments and turn them into market leaders. To achieve it we need to groom our people to become experts so that we could export talents at subsidiary level”, explained Ahmad Fariz.
More than 30 Malaysian corporations including multinational companies participated in this year’s competition where Perangsang Selangor emerged as Silver Award Winner for Employer of Choice (Private Sector Category). Chief Operating Officer of Perangsang Selangor, Suzila Khairuddin received the award which was presented by Aresandiran J Naidu, President of MIHRM during a gala dinner attended by over 500 corporate leaders and representatives from all over Malaysia.
