KPS Berhad Shares Positive Outcome from Lawsuit on Kuala Langat Land Dispute
- Plaintiffs withdrew the lawsuit
- Legal proceedings relating to the matter concluded
Shah Alam, Malaysia, 19 December 2025 – Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (“KPS Berhad” or “the Company”) (KPS, Bursa: 5843; Bloomberg: KUPS:MK; Reuters: KPSB.KL) referred to its earlier press release dated 15 November 2023 in relation to the lawsuit made against it by three individuals involving a past land transaction in Kuala Langat, Selangor. The allegation involves a transaction that took place 44 years ago of two parcels of land at Brooklyn and Sungai Kelambu in Kuala Langat.
KPS Berhad updated that there has been an encouraging outcome: the plaintiffs have withdrawn the suit against KPS Berhad, with costs paid to KPS Berhad, thereby concluding the matter.
KPS Berhad’s Managing Director/Group Chief Executive Officer, Ahmad Fariz Hassan, said:
