Senior Management Gender Diversity Policy

INTRODUCTION

In line with the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (“MCCG”), KPS Berhad acknowledges the importance of diversity in its Senior Management whereby diversity is key in attaining effective strategic objectives of the Company and the Group in enhancing sustainable growth and development in promoting better corporate governance.

PURPOSE

Despite core criteria such as merits and competencies of suitable candidates remain a priority, the objective of applying this Policy to new appointments of the Senior Management is characterised by a broad range of contributions and viewpoints arising from the diversity in gender, ethnicity, and age rather than the diversity in knowledge, skills and experience.

SCOPE

This Policy shall apply to the Senior Management of KPS Berhad and its subsidiaries as follows:

  • Managing Director / Group Chief Executive Officer (“MD/GCEO”) and Deputy Chief Executive Officer (“DCEO”)
  • Head of Subsidiaries

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

The guiding principles of this Policy are in line with Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) Main Market Listing Requirement (“MMLR”) in accordance with Paragraph 15.25 (1) (2).
